Session 1: June 8th-11th
Session 2: July 20th-23rd
Are you looking for a summer experience that hits all the right notes?
Our camp is uniquely designed to engage both sides of the brain. By splitting our day between Ukulele Mastery and Creative Crafting, we provide a refreshing pace that prevents "practice fatigue" and keeps inspiration flowing from morning until pick-up.
Designed specifically for beginners or campers with some prior knowledge, our music sessions take the intimidation out of learning an instrument. We focus on foundational skills in a fun, group-led environment that encourages steady musical progression.
No Gear? No Problem: We provide ukuleles for all campers to use during camp hours.
Bring Your Own: Already have a favorite uke? You’re more than welcome to bring it along!
The Grand Finale: On the final day, campers will showcase their new skills in a short performance for family and friends. Get those cameras ready!
When it’s time to set the instruments down, we pick the glue sticks and paintbrushes up! Our crafting sessions are designed to engage the "maker" spirit through tactile, high-quality projects.
Featured Projects Include:
Signature Tie-Dye: A camp classic! Campers will learn different folding and binding techniques (like spirals and sunbursts) to create their own vibrant, custom camp shirt.
Mosaic Coasters: Learn the art of tiling and color theory.
Custom Keychains: The classic camp staple, reimagined.
And more! From friendship bracelets to mixed-media art, there is always something new to build.
We believe that creativity isn't a single lane. By switching between the auditory discipline of music and the visual freedom of crafting, campers stay energized and focused. It’s the perfect environment for kids to discover new talents without the pressure of "perfection."
Not at all! We provide high-quality ukuleles for every camper to use throughout the week. If your child already owns one and would prefer to learn on their own instrument, they are more than welcome to bring it along!
Perfect! This camp is designed specifically for them. We specialize in absolute beginners. We start with the basics—how to hold the instrument and simple one-finger chords—ensuring everyone feels confident and successful by the end of the first day.
To ensure we have enough instruments for everyone, our ukuleles stay at the camp each evening. However, the skills they learn are easily transferable to any standard soprano or concert ukulele you might have at home!
We focus on "keepsake" crafts that campers will actually want to use! Think mosaic coasters, personalized wooden door signs, and custom keychains. Our goal is to engage their fine motor skills and artistic flair while giving their "music brain" a well-deserved break.
Do I need to provide a white shirt for the tie-dye session?
We’ve got you covered! We provide the official camp T-shirts for our tie-dye project to ensure the dyes bond perfectly and the colors stay bright.
Is the crafting session messy?
While we provide gloves, crafting can occasionally get a little adventurous! We recommend that campers wear "play clothes" —outfits that you don't mind getting a small splash of color on, just in case.
Will the tie-dye be ready to wear immediately?
Because the dye needs time to "set" (usually 24 hours), we handle the rinsing and drying process at camp. Campers will be able to take their finished masterpieces home on the final day—just in time to wear them for the big performance!
Can I register my child for only the morning (music) or afternoon (crafting) session?
To provide the best experience, we do not offer half-day registrations. Our curriculum is specifically designed as a "whole brain" experience; the schedule alternates between ukulele and crafting to prevent fatigue and keep campers inspired. By participating in the full day, campers get the necessary practice time for their final performance while enjoying the social and creative benefits of the crafting blocks.
The performance takes place on the final day of camp. It is a short, low-pressure showcase (usually about 15–20 minutes) where the campers can show off the songs and chords they learned during the week. We will send out an exact time slot to parents on the first day of camp.
